VOICES VIRTUAL: Grey Yin Yoga with Alce X The Depressed Cake Shop SG
byVoices Wellness Posted On 30 April 2021
Yin yoga aims to help participants calm the body and mind, eliminate stress, as well as boost the immune system. The class is an opportunity to take a step back, slow down, and enjoy long and deep stretches with a focus on breathing and flexibility. Students who own props such as yoga blocks and straps also have the option to use them, in order to safely improve mobility and release tension. Suitable for all levels of practitioners, the postures in the class will be done either seated or lying down for maximum relaxation.
Participants are encouraged to turn up in grey with a pop of colour, in line with The Depressed Cake Shop’s theme. After the session, they’ll be treated to a gift of grey treats—instructions for redemption will be given. While a small contribution for these grey bakes have already been made to DCS Singapore on the participants’ behalf by Voices Wellness, they’re encouraged to make their own donations to SAMH as well.
